Salim is Principal Consultancy’s strategy and management expert; his strength lies in corporate strategy and the management of people, especially within the context of limited time and limited resources. He is the strategic mind behind Principal Consultancy.
Born in Lebanon in 1975, Salim developed an early passion for politics – which would later translate into a PhD in Political Science and Constitutional Law. He started off his career as a news editor at LBCI in Lebanon, and would later move to the U.S. to pursue a career opportunity as a News Producer for the Middle East Broadcasting Network (MBN) in Washington; there he managed major projects and news rebranding, and met Shady with whom he would later found Principal Consultancy.
After spending close to a decade at MBN, Salim moved to Doha to head the Programs and News Section at ARTV, a position he would keep for nine years prior to becoming a truly independent media consultant and co-founding Principal Consultancy. Salim’s specialty lies in the art of communication strategy and the management of people, and he has advised on hundreds of projects across the world, including a number of strategic communications projects. He is an analytical, diplomatic force who can bring people together by rounding the corners, and ensure the work is done in the best possible way.
